A version of the UEVHPA which did not expressly address civil liability or workers compensation coverage was approved by the NCCUSL in 2006 and was considered in eight jurisdictions during the 2007 legislative session (with three enactments).    Legislative enactment efforts with respect to the 2007 version of UEHVPA, which do include uniform provisions on civil liability and workers compensation coverage, will begin in earnest in 2008.
